There comes a time in the life of a project where it needs to step up a gear. I can hardly say MyNetwork has moved quickly, but considering the attention that the Profile System - and in particular the beta of Profile Comments - has had over the last few months of 2011, it still is pretty popular considering I've never really told anyone about it!

So, as you can see, Xekko has undergone some makeover treatment ready for some new stuff coming your way! The other main reasons for me to do this is so that I can easily keep on top of upgrades, updates and get things out much quicker. My old system was exactly that - old - and difficult to do anything with easily.

As my projects go, they tend to be pretty experimental - and this new look is nothing short of that. Please report anything you feel that is out of place or doesn't quite work properly and I'll get onto it.

For the moment, the MyNetwork Download Centre is currently offline so please bear with me while I upgrade that.

Elsewhere, I'll be upgrading the entire collection of existing MyNetwork features over the course of the coming months and getting out two of the next features: Notifications and the MyNetwork Mobile Web App. There's also some new forums here at Xekko in the form of Suggestions and Feedback and Ask a Question - an attempt at putting my OCD at rest, I might add.

Anyway thanks for reading this and, of course, supporting MyNetwork. Needless to say, 2012 will be an exceptional year - and not just for Xekko.

If you experience any difficulties with MyNetwork and MyBB 1.6.5 please report them!

One last update, I'm extremely busy at the moment with other projects and so Profile System beta 3 (and a fresh new look for Xekko!) is coming on more slowly than I'd hoped. In the mean time though, keep using and reporting!
