MyNetwork will be a plugin-and-go system. You just upload all the files, activate the plugin and then switch on whatever features you want to use. That way, you always have the option of using them without having to install everything in one go. It doesn't interfere that much with templates - relative time and a few others will change things in them though, but nothing that should cause any problems.
