No profile comments' buttons and textarea

← Profile System Support — Started 18 Feb, 2012

Hi there, I just installed your awesome plugin: there's one little problem with the comments' textarea, which seems it won't show up.

I read some threads before this, I changed the file so that the option "allow everyone to comment" is enabled by default, and it actually is, but when i go on someone's profile, in the comments tab it just show "There are no comments left for [user] yet".

What's the problem here? Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian Smile

Eso debe de ser por los grupos de usuario. Debes de dar permisos a los grupos de usuario para que estos puedan dejar comentarios en los perfiles.

That must be for the user groups. You must give permissions to user groups so they can leave comments on profiles.

Questo deve essere per i gruppi di utenti. È necessario concedere le autorizzazioni a gruppi di utenti in modo da poter lasciare commenti sui profili.

Oh man, you're right! Thank you, probably I didn't read this in the documentation... maybe it isn't there?

Also, can someone explain me how to edit the animation/transition between two tabs? I'd like to see a fade or a slide effect when I change tabs! Thank you guys, you're awesome! Smile

Update.

Another thing: I can't see the options in my Usercp panel. What is the variable supposed to be within "usercp_options" template? I can't found it! Thank you again!

It hooks itself onto the bottom of the options table; I'll be making some adjustments to how this works very soon. Comments is still in beta and we're still working on it. Smile

Just to confirm, the options are attached to the pm notify label; it looks for this:

Code:
{$lang->pm_notify}</label></span></td>
</tr>

If this code isn't in your usercp_options template, and your usergroup settings are correct, then the options won't show.

Mh, I edited the usercp_options template, and I can find that string: but it seems the plugin can't find it! Sad

I didn't understand at all the reply regarding the animation, but ok then, I'll wait for the update or the official 1.0 release Big Grin
