1.0.2 Update

← News & Stuff — Started 23 Feb, 2010

MyTracker 1.0.2 is now available to download! It fixes the following bugs:
  • Cannot edit comment
  • Images dont show
  • Project language
It also alters the installer to provide functionality for a changed admin directory.

The Core package download has been updated with the 1.0.2 changes.

Upgrading from 1.0.1
If you're using MyTracker 1.0.1, you can download the Snapshot package and upload all the files to your server/host - replacing the previous versions.

You must run the upgrader to update MyTracker. Once you've uploaded all the changed files, go to ./tracker/install/upgrade.php (deleting the 'lock' file) and choose the upgrade version. This upgrade will try and change the mytracker_project_content template, but isn't intrusive. So, if you haven't altered the options, you won't notice any difference.

These forums were successfully upgraded to 1.0.2 with the snapshot pacakge - but if there's any problems, feel free to let me know.

The snapshot package does not contain install/upgrade.php.

It doesn't need it, as it hasn't had any changes to it. It should already exist in your ./tracker/install folder... Smile

A 500 error is a server problem, and not necessarily down to the script. Contact your host to see if they can point you in the right direction...

There is no major differences between MyBB's upgrade and MyTracker's upgrade, so I don't really know what the problem is.

There is also no massive changes in the upgrade, so you can just upload the snapshot and you're good to go.

It's just really a version number. You'll need to edit the mybb_datacache table in phpMyAdmin, or another database manager. Change the trackerversion row's cache to this:

Code:
a:5:{s:7:"version";s:5:"1.0.2";s:12:"version_code";s:4:"1002";s:10:"last_check";i:1266917561;s:14:"latest_version";s:5:"1.0.2";s:19:"latest_version_code";s:4:"1002";}
