By the way, the box on the left on the index page says I have two new PM's but I have none.

Yeah it's caused by the bookmarks; I changed its CSS to put it to the right of the message (in the gap) and the feature couldn't uninstall it.

I'm pretty sure it's just reading info from the database but I'll check out the PM issue. Thanks!

Just a small thing - I miss being able to go direct to new posts/todays posts. The links in the welcome box do not work.

You can still head to the URLs if you want to; http://resources.xekko.co.uk/search.php?action=getnew

The next theme update here does have the links (it has a better sidebar)...

Hi Ryan, I agree that may be so for here, but on a big forum it would be handy - hence the "report" Smile

EDIT
I just added my website link in my profile and I see that the button on the post bit display is not styled the same as the other buttons - it looks like a default theme button.

There is supposed to be a link next to the "new posts" which takes you to it but for some reason it didn't come out here (it appears on the 1.6 forum though!)...

Thanks for pointing out the www button! I'll make a new one for the update this week. Thankfully it doesn't destroy the layout of the postbit like it did in testing... Shy

So is this theme going to become available because i would lvoe it for RCM Smile and then just edit it to the way i like it to work with the website.

And does it work with the classic postbit? as thats all i ever use.

I'm not so sure about releasing this as a theme to be honest; I'm unsure about how people will feel about installing a plugin to run a theme. Also, if you look at the stylesheets (aside from being pretty hacky) it doesn't edit global.css at all; it's all overwritten by another stylesheet - which is perfect for me to use with the rest of the website but not so great for others.

For example, the plugin detects whether or not to include the IE-only edits to the stylesheet or to add-in the buttons stylesheet - rather than rely on MyBB's systems. It even detects whether or not the user is on a mobile device and whether to switch to a mobile/smartphone version of the theme (isn't available here just yet).

So the moral is that it needs a bit of work, which I'd rather spend the time making better features. Tongue

To be honest, I asked 3 different people if they could design me a theme until I came to do it myself. No disrespect to the people I asked though, I understand time is a pretty rare - I was glad I could spare some of their time.

I actually designed this theme in November 2009: here's one of the first pen'd mock ups - http://resources.xekko.co.uk/downloads/C...508380.pdf - and there's still plenty of things I want to do with it too!

My services are always available though... Tongue
