Thursday, 5th August 2010 will see Xekko upgrading to 1.6. The downtime is expected to start around 8.30 BST (GMT +1).

The MyNetwork Core here will also be upgraded, and if there's no major problems, I'll be launching beta versions of the MyNetwork Core module along with the following features:
  • Auto Upgrade
  • Custom Language Editor
  • Move PM
  • Post Reputation
  • Post Tagging
  • Relative Time
These features will be fully functional (except for Auto Upgrade, which of course, requires a future MyBB upgrade!) with 1.6. For those who are using MyNetwork Core for 1.4, it's probably best to upgrade as there's plenty of new features in the Core, as well as new changes to the Template System.

Subscriptions
MyNetwork Core will cost 0€. That's right. It's free. As are the inital features that are available. Previously this was going to be a premium plugin, but to be honest, I can't keep the wraps on something this cool. So basically, anybody who is registered here is able to get a Basic Gecko ID. This lets you get your mits on the Core and some of the more standard features we'll be chugging out.

A Premium Gecko ID costs 7.50€ - roughly $10 or £6.25. Or in easy terms, the cost of a beer and a burger at Wetherspoons. This Gecko ID gives you access to premium updates, beta releases and the chance to get your own customisations on your forum to MyNetwork Features (as well as a few other little perks - such as themes and language packs).

It might not seem that much, but a beer and burger is gratefully appreciated!

Those who've already sent donations to help buy beer and enough cans of coke to build a small airplane will get a lifetime licence.

I'm finally happy to say that I'm really excitied about tomorrow! Big Grin

You can easily send £10 to my PayPal, but I'd rather wait until I have a premium module to release before people purchase these subscriptions. Or, at least, spend some more time testing the conversions!

If I had an exact time of when it'll be released, then yeah a countdown would be great! But there's still a few little niggling problems I've noticed here that I'd like to change before releasing it.

It won't be long. Smile

Can you screenshot them? Are they template errors as in PHP fatal errors or just theme issues?

Yes of course @"ryanstuff" @"ryansstuff"

(I don't think the quick reply works in Opera...)

Before it was ctrl+@, but I decided to simplify it to just users (before, a facebox appeared with the option to tag users, posts and threads). It was mainly because I didn't want to add in jQuery to power the Facebox, and most of MyNetwork now runs on Prototype and Scriptaculous.

You tag like this:

Code:
@"ryansstuff", @"Tomm"

Becomes @"ryansstuff", @"Tomm".

No, they aren't problems as such - the buttons at the bottom (overlaying the signature) are a problem, but the author box is supposed to overlay into the message area. It looks better in CSS3 browsers. Tongue

@"Tomm"
Ah how cool good idea to do that i suppose. And i see about the things, what browsers support CSS3 because the only difference i see in firefox is the buttons are rounded. Smile Ah well IE9 beta comes out next month lets hope it better Smile

Baaah, time has defeated me again. I've almost finished off polishing the downloads and fixing a few errors, but it's curry night at Restaurant de la Wetherspoon and I won't get enough time to finish it.

It will definitely be launched tomorrow. Smile
