I was looking at my profile here on Xekko and I noticed that there are tabs for different areas of the profile (this is good).

Will it possible for us to add our own extra custom tabs? Like if you see my profile on my own site you will see that I have a big area for my uploaded items. It would be neat if I could add that as a custom tab.

Correct! The profile tabs can be extended to show more content - for example, the Comments feature adds a tab to display comments on a profile.

It'll need a custom feature, but it's easy to make one.

OMG I love the profile system, I am in love.
Yer being able to add extra tabs on it would be a good idea to be honest. It would encourage more users to use it and allow specific forums to have different things.

Hi Tomm, I was looking at the profile module thus far again ( can you tell I am BOUNCING in my seat waiting for this) and I noticed a couple of things;

In posts my title is SimFish, but on my profile it says Newbie (I think I sneaked under the bar and added a custom title back in the days when it was still allowed on Xekko forums)

I don't see the referrer link - I don't LIKE the referrer link in the 1.6 MyBB default profile (its ugly) but maybe people would want to have it. Will it be added back in or will it be part of a tab?

Ahh I must be overriding the user title with the post group. I'll have a look into it.

The referral link is still in the profile, just that the referral system here is disabled so its automatically hidden.

I'm glad you're excited by it, but there's even more to it than what's here. If you've been on Facebook and select the 'more content' thingy to see more items on your feed - and it inserts more content into the page? Yeah, it has that too...

This just gets better so when are we likely to get the profile module?

I'm hoping to give the core, comments and status update features to premium Gecko ID holders before I go on holiday at the beginning of September - although my work load has just doubled this morning so I might not have time to finish it off.

Either way, I want this to be available before October.

Sounds awesome Tomm - my birthday is in October so that would be great - course, early birthday gifts are also appreciated
