Relative Time issues!

Well i know the one about when you move it gets stuck, but i have seen another issue form on my site now if you go to http://rollercoastermad.com/forum/index.php
And scroll down to USA parks. you will see it says 1 year ago. but if you click on usa parksyou will see there was one that was posted this morning.

It's because it's looking into that category and seeing a thread from 1 year ago, rather than delving into the sub-forums for the latest thread. It's something I'm working on, but have to be careful with (because people can have unlimited sub-forum depths).

Maybe creating a setting for "Maximum Subforums" and description "Number of subforums to look for the most recent post." Or something like this

Yes and no. I've been playing around with a different approach to the forumdisplay but that's needing a bit more testing before letting it loose - the only short coming I can give is to disable posting in a category (which is its main intention anyway).

Either way, quick answer is yes, I have a solution - but it isn't ready just yet.
